I have been involved with dogs all my life growing up with a Border Collie and a Standard Smooth Dachsund.
My interest in Gundogs started when I married my husband who was a keen hunter and we bought our first Irish Setter in 1974 this then led to us buying an English Setter who we showed in the show ring successfully and we have carried on since then breeding and showing many English and Irish Setter Champions who have won Best In Shows, Best of Groups etc at All Breed and Specialist Shows.
We have also
successfully shown a Bassett Hound who was N.Z Bassett of the year for two consecutive years.
I obtained my ?Judges Licence in 1990 and have judged in Australia and New Zealand.
Over the years I have been heavily involved with the organisation of many Clubs and Shows and have served on various Committees and at present am Vice President of the Southern Gundog Society, Canterbury NZ.

I am really looking forward to judging your shows on the 20 and 21 September 2008 and thank you very much for inviting me.
